One hour scarf - free knitting pattern

a quiuckknit scarf

This scarf is a thin sort of fashion 'day' scarf not a thick wooly winter one. It uses one ball of Sirdar 'Fizz' and the one pictured here is in shade 795 - Carnival. It's knitted on 12mm needles in garter stitch so expect a very open weave. Despite the fact that the yarn has ribbons and boobles in it knits up quickly and easily and makes great last minute presents.

Knitting the scarf

  1. Cast on 15 stitches.
  2. Knit every row (garter stitch) until 1 metre of yarn remains.
  3. Cast off all 15 stitches loosely.
  4. Wear your scarf with pride or wrap it as a home made gift! Easy huh?!
